Corporate social responsibility: A comparative analysis among Demark, Hungary and Greece
This paper aims to define the meaning of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the context of the European framework and examine CSR in three different European countries. The main elements which encompass the meaning of CSR focus on activities with social and environmental sensitiveness on a voluntary basis.
The paper makes an analysis of the dimensions of CSR and presents its benefits. Furthermore, the paper provides a brief description of the activities that concern CSR in European Union and attempts a comparative analysis of CSR activities and their respective impacts on three European countries, i.e. Greece, Denmark and Hungary. Finally, the paper concludes that the effective implementation of CSR strategy is not about following strict rules rather than be able to become adjusted to the culture, needs and particularities of each country.

Maßnahmen zur Renaturierung von Fließgewässern benötigen Flächen, die im Regelfall Nutzungen zugeführt sind. Die Nitratwerte im deutschen Grundwasser sind vielerorts seit über 20 Jahren erhöht. Die EU-Kommission beurteilte entsprechende Gesetzesnovellen der vergangenen Jahre mehrfach als unzureichend. Vorgestellt werden Untersuchungsergebnisse dazu, unter welchen Voraussetzungen kleine partizipative Gremien lokal zu einer Einhaltung der Nitratgrenzwerte in ihrer jeweiligen Region beitragen können.

The economic influence of China on Africa has been apparent for some time, has this influence spread into the sphere of climate policy and law? This article considers the development and implementation of Chinese climate change policy and law and whether lessons can be drawn from the Chinese experience and be effectively applied to African countries. The analysis is made against the backdrop of development in China and Africa, Chinese development efforts and co-operation with African countries, and takes into account the wide differences in the levels of economic and social development of those countries.
