Automated system for the acquisition, storing and processing of the information about the ecological education in the Republic of Belarus
The analysis of the specialists’ training in the field of the environmental sciences in the Republic of Belarus was carried out. As a result the automated system for the acquisition, storing and processing of the information about the ecological education in the Republic of Belarus was developed.
The system is a full-scale network resource (integrated database with the search tools and Web-site (http://www.ecoeducation.by/) which gives the information about specialties and specializations, the amount of students and teachers in universities that provide the training of the specialists in the field of the environmental sciences, educational-methodical materials, and also the information about the international experience of such specialists’ training. This approach will be the good opportunity to exchange the institutions’ experience in the field of environmental sciences. The system is periodically being improved and filled up.

Die Nitratwerte im deutschen Grundwasser sind vielerorts seit über 20 Jahren erhöht. Die EU-Kommission beurteilte entsprechende Gesetzesnovellen der vergangenen Jahre mehrfach als unzureichend. Vorgestellt werden Untersuchungsergebnisse dazu, unter welchen Voraussetzungen kleine partizipative Gremien lokal zu einer Einhaltung der Nitratgrenzwerte in ihrer jeweiligen Region beitragen können.

The economic influence of China on Africa has been apparent for some time, has this influence spread into the sphere of climate policy and law? This article considers the development and implementation of Chinese climate change policy and law and whether lessons can be drawn from the Chinese experience and be effectively applied to African countries. The analysis is made against the backdrop of development in China and Africa, Chinese development efforts and co-operation with African countries, and takes into account the wide differences in the levels of economic and social development of those countries.

Kennzahlen als glaubwürdige Datenbasis für die Kommunikation von Nachhaltigkeitsleistungen der Wasserversorgung

Nachhaltigkeit stellt eine wichtige Zielgröße für die Erfüllung der Aufgaben von Wasserversorgungsunternehmen im Rahmen der Daseinsvorsorge dar, die bisher nicht ausreichend gegenüber Mitarbeitern, Kunden, Eignern, Verbrauchern und weiteren Öffentlichkeitsgruppen kommuniziert wird. Ein verbindlicher Bezugsrahmen für diese Kommunikation kann auf dem IWA-Kennzahlensystem aufgebaut werden, das dazu um weitere Kennzahlen und Indikatoren erweitert wird. Besonderheiten der Wasserversorgung können so gut in der Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung berücksichtigt werden. Die Kennzahlen und Indikatoren für die Nachhaltigkeitsleistungen lassen sich thematisch ordnen. Sich so ergebende Themenmodule ermöglichen sowohl eine unternehmensindividuelle Schwerpunktbildung als auch die Betonung besonderer Themengruppen in der zielgruppenspezifischen Nachhaltigkeits-Kommunikation.
