A Fuzzy Multicriteria Mathematical Programming model for planning irrigated agricultural regions© Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (6/2009)
Modern irrigated agriculture is characterized by a series of conflicting optimization criteria that hinder the decision making process in the planning of agricultural production. Such criteria usually are gross margin, the variance of gross margin that stands as a measurement of the total risk, labor, etc. At the same time, the decision making process in agricultural production planning is often conducted with data that result accidentally in nature or are fuzzy (not deterministic).
